So, we’re now more than a week into 2019 – how are you doing?
How are you coming along with those New Year’s intentions you set for yourself?
If you’re finding that keeping up with your intentions is starting to get harder to do, you’re not alone. It happens to the best of us. Think about it – the gym is always crowded the first week in January but by the end of the month it’s not anymore and the people who are going to the gym are the ones who were already going before the New Year.
After the initial rush and excitement of the new year wears off – and it does wear off – we’re left with our intentions. We’re at a crossroads and have to decide if we’re going to make the decision to keep going with them, really make the effort, or if we’re going to abandon our intentions and go back to our old ways.
This usually happens around mid-January.
If you set the intention to get healthier this year as a way to improve your fertility, I’ve got you covered! Here I give you 5 specific, tangible ways (plus a BONUS way!) you can start to get healthier right away. These are all easy things to do that have a real, lasting impact.

Here’s the deal:
“Getting healthy” is a really big goal – and it can be really overwhelming. It can be tough to know where to start, especially if health and wellness is all new to you.
It helps to break it up into small chunks – not only is that more manageable but it gives you focus so you can start seeing – and feeling – results. Once the results come in and you’re feeling great, you’ll be excited – and inspired – to keep going. That’s the zone you want to be in!
Five things might be a lot to focus on in the beginning. Even though my tips are low-hanging fruit, easy things you can start doing right away, it might help you to pick 1 and focus on just that for a few weeks. Once you feel like you’ve got a handle on it, you can add another.

Luckily, the path to improved health, wellness and fertility isn’t a sprint. Think about the turtle and the hare – the hare is like the hords of people heading to the gym the first week in January before they lose interest.
You want to be a turtle – taking simple, consistent action every day. As long as you’re doing that, you’ll always be headed in the right direction – you’re golden!
I’d love to hear how it goes for you!
